The Career Exploration Program at Ketterer Charter School helps students learn about different careers, build practical skills, and understand how their interests connect to the world of work. Our goal is to help youth grow in confidence, discover new abilities, and prepare for success after high school.
We combine academic support, hands-on learning, and employability skills so every student leaves with a stronger sense of direction and purpose.
What Students Learn
Career Awareness & Exploration Students explore a variety of trades and career fields so they can learn what interests them and where their strengths may lead.
Employability & Soft Skills Students build essential “soft skills” such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, time management, and responsibility — all aligned with PACTT Employability Skills.
Academic & Vocational Skills Our program blends academics with real-world learning so students develop both the knowledge and hands-on experience they need for future opportunities.
Career Exploration is an integrated program that provides youth in care with highly effective academic and vocational components that facilitate the development of PACTT employability skills and opportunity for career exploration.
